In his final year at Toronto Metropolitan University, he received the Technicolor Award in Cinematography for his thesis work.

Deniz Lim-Sersan, Composer
Deniz Lim-Sersan is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer. From youth Deniz had a unique voice on the piano and studied jazz through various community bands in Ottawa eventually earning the piano spot at the Yamaha National All Star Jazz band where he was invited to attend Humber College with a scholarship. Graduating with various awards and scholarships, Deniz continued his musical education attending the Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music under scholarship from TD.

Deniz is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer. Deniz has been playing in diverse styles with bands like KC Roberts & the Live Revolution and the Virginia MacDonald Sextet, performing across Canada in prestigious venues like the main stage at the National Arts Center in Ottawa.
